Two people stand beside a door displaying Changing Places and Not all disabilities are visible signs while holding bright purple information leaflets promoting awareness and support. The person on the left, dressed in a dark suit with a ceremonial chain of office, gestures toward the accessibility signage, while the person on the right smiles and presents an informational leaflet. Community noticeboards are visible in the background, reinforcing the public setting. The image highlights a collaborative initiative to raise awareness of inclusive facilities and invisible disabilities, promoting accessibility, community engagement, and support for people with a wide range of access needs.

WORK
TOGETHER

Could your accessibility product help make Abergavenny one of the UK's most inclusive destinations?

As we prepare to launch the Abergavenny Digital Twin, we're opening the door to organisations developing products that improve accessibility, independence and inclusion.

This isn't about selling products. It's about connecting visitors, businesses and communities with solutions that can genuinely make a difference.

The supporting website will showcase innovative accessibility products that could benefit businesses across the town, from hospitality and retail to heritage, leisure and public spaces.

A fantastic example is Gavin Neate's Welcome App, helping businesses provide a more confident and inclusive welcome for disabled customers. Imagine visitors discovering not only where they can go, but also the technology and products available to make their experience even better.

We're interested in products such as:

• Navigation and wayfinding solutions
• Hearing enhancement technology
• Sensory and autism-friendly products
• Accessible communication tools
• Inclusive payment technology
• Mobility and independence aids
• Digital accessibility innovations
• Any product that helps remove barriers and improve the visitor experience

Our ambition has always been bigger than creating a digital twin. We're building a connected destination where accessibility is visible, practical and continuously evolving.

If you have a product that could help businesses become more accessible and inclusive, I'd love to hear from you. Together, let's create a destination where everyone feels welcome before they even arrive.
